• I’m having trouble with a paid theme. Thesis. WordPress 2.6 seems to not be reading the CSS file. It also does this for some free themes. Anyone have any idea of where I should be looking. I deactivated all my plugins and that didn’t seem to help. Don’t know why it would.

  • “not reading the css file” ?

So there is no css style to your site?
Maybe delete the theme, re-upload it and re-activate it, otherwise show us your site link.

And if this is a paid Theme, then contact the Theme author for support, please. They are more familiar with it and how it works and can respond in a more timely and specific fashion. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. The theme in question, as did all of them that displayed unstylized text did have a CSS file. I did post to the thesis forum but thought it would be helpful to do so here as well. Here is the link with thesis activated, https://techcenterblog.com/blog/.

Well, the css file is being read. I think you are having other issues. I know some themes look screwy until you start to configure them and actually add some sort of content, escpecially themes like this which call on certain category numbers to be styled in specific locations.

I took a glance and that is what I gathered.

All I see on your page is “Just another WordPress weblog” and a photo of a rainbow pinwheel. You do have code errors that need fixing. The unusual php css implementatation appears to be causing a number of these errors. Contact the theme author.
