CSS preprocessor error

When updating to the latest version, the project grid changed its appearance, the category was floating above the image and other changes … I searched “inspect” and found that the css code shows in various sections variables within the code:

transition: var(–vp-items-style-default-transition-duration) transform var(–vp-items-style-default-transition-easing),var(–vp-items-style-default-transition-duration) opacity var(–vp-items-style-default-transition-easing);

I am not an expert in this, but I saw this kind of variables in CSS preprocessors like SASS.
