css property mix-blend-mode not working

I don’t see how “specific” OP can be again: the CSS editor simply does not recognize the CSS property mix-blend-mode.

It doesn’t matter what value is given or what selector the property is applied to: it’s the property itself that the editor doesn’t recognize and throws a warning (though it allows you to publish it).

Here’s a screenshot with CSS copied directly from Twenty Nineteen’s stylesheet:

There’s already a ticket for this sort of thing. The problem is that the code that detects problems (Code Mirror) has a list of valid keywords that is outdated, since browsers and CSS change fairly often.
When you say the mix-blend-mode didn’t work for you, that is likely because of your browser, or the selector you used didn’t match the HTML.
