CSS selector for File-Remove-Button

In this case you’ll need to use the :before pseudo-selector because the icon itself is being handled with it:

So the selector will be:

.forminator-file-upload  i.forminator-icon-close:before {
// your CSS
}

just one more question regarding this: when i move the cursor on the remove icon there appears a light red shadow. Is ist possible to target this one as well? – because when I move the remove icon via css, the shadow doesn’t move at the same time.

You can give a try in:

.forminator-file-upload  .forminator-button-delete{
    display: none !important;
}

This will remove the entire button unless you are looking to modify/replace the x button.

thank you for your reply. I was trying to keep the remove icon as I think it is very useful. I just re-positioned the icon via css. However, I was not able to move the “shadow” as well.

I would be very grateful if you have a solution or css selector for the “shadow” as well.

If you use button.forminator-button-delete selector to move the icon, the shadow will follow as well.

If this does not help, please share your page link where the form is embedded, so that we can check and help further.
