CSS Trick – need expert

    I am finding it hard to find someone to ask! LOL.

    I have a website and wordpress installed on my hosting. This is shared with another person. They created the design of the website in CSS. Now, I went and updated a page, understanding CSS a bit and knowing that the HTML page just specifies the design. Everything looked good on the page, BUT the text that was specified bold remained bold.
    We have it setup so that the search engine reads bold, but the CSS style sheet turns it back to normal appearing text to the human eye. He isn’t telling me how to ‘activate’ this feature each time I upload a page and I want to know. Can someone contact me and look at the code quck, that knows about this?

    If you provided a link to the page, then it might be simpler for people to look at it. ??

    What’s the point of this? Search engines don’t care about “bold” or not. They may place certain emphasis on headings and such, but “bold” is almost certainly not a valid SEO technique. Proper semantic markup is far, far more important.

    Keywords are more often specified as tags or as actual keywords in the meta information for a given page.

    Also, “bold” and “italic” (as in <b> and <i>) are deprecated. Use <strong> and <em> instead.
