• I’ve worked with a lot of csv imports / exports, and this file doesn’t seem to import well at all into excel. I think it’s the custom message with return lines that are messing with the file. Any feedback or thoughts?

I copied the custom message text, did a find and replace to delete it, and the import went well. It’s a workaround none the less.

thanks for the bug report and the update. I will look into this.

I suspect that when saving, the new lines have to be massaged so they will display well in HTML and something about that makes Excel not import properly.

I am travelling right now but will follow up on this when I get home in a couple of weeks.

My apologies for the delay, I have been overseas and am now back.

I tested and can’t recreate the issue (which I haven’t heard of before). Can you please contact me directly at https://speakout.123host.net.au/contact

@rmaccue – further on this. Someone pointed out that the CSV is being generated in UTF-16 which can cause formatting issues. In the next versions (Pro and Free) I have tweaked so that it will be UTF-8
