CSV export missing meta fields

I understand that meta fields are missing when exporting products.

Does that only happen for me and could related to my website?

I was not able to replicate your issue as my test site, which uses the default Storefront theme, exports the meta fields. Please could you clarify if you are using the default CSV export or if you are using a plugin?

Additionally, the meta fields should be included in the product export if this has been selected. Please confirm that you are selecting the “Export custom meta” checkbox before generating the CSV, as seen in the screenshot below?

Should you be using the default WooCommerce export tool, and the checkbox has been selected, this issue could be caused by a theme or plugin conflict however, before moving to this step, please could you share a copy of your sites System Status, which you can find via?WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’.

For the export, I am using default CSV export (Products>Export). I have some plugins installed for filtering products but I am not using it to export.

I did select the checkbox but the issue persists.

Hey @burgerino

I understand your CSV export does not contain the meta fields even after selecting the option. However, I could not reproduce the issue on my end.

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
