When trying to update meetings, I was running into an issue where it wouldn’t let me publish and would only remain in draft mode.
As a work-around, I was able to download the csv data and make the correction on there and then import back into the meeting guide via the imports and settings page. That deleted all my meeting data and now when I try to upload the complete meeting csv file, the status bar hangs at about 10% and will not load further. I tried uninstalling the app and re-installing and importing the test template file provided and nothing will go back into the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the only quick advice i can give you is try turning off your other plugins, it sounds like one of them is having an error that’s interfering with address lookup and the import. both of these depend on javascript so sometimes another plugin can cause a problem.

you instructed it to delete your meeting data when you imported, and it’s simply not able to complete the export because of some roadblock.

i’ve got several deadlines at work today and won’t be able to help more than this until much later. good luck and let me know how it goes

    Hey AA Web Servant–

I’m trying to help plbar with this problem (while we’re at NAATW).

His Meetings plugin page is showing an error with SSL, which is odd because SSL seems to be working.

We were able to look at console error (I’m not seeing how to upload photos here) that says “Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute ‘replaceState’ on ‘History’: A history state object with URL ‘https://www.fresnoaa.org/gfaia/wp/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tsml_meeting&page=import’ cannot be created in document with origin…

So, I’m thinking there is an SSL vs no SSL permission issue? This is a GoDaddy based WordPress site.

Can I text you the picture of the full error? (I have your number).

Sounds like maybe a force ssl plugin? Did you try turning them off? This isn’t something that other sites have reported so I don’t think this is an issue with this plugin.

Try turning off the other plugins and if you still see the console error then yeah text it to me.

I’m guessing it’s on the front end too?

There is no plugin force ssl. He had GoDaddy configure SSL.

What is interesting is that the TSML “seems” to be sending a non-ssl link to execute the import.

Although I didn’t type the entire message in the console, after “origin” comes “…’https://www.fresnoaa.org’ and URL ‘https://www.fresnoaa/gfaia/wp/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tsml_meeting&page=import’. at https:/…’

Why would that be? I get this may be a GoDaddy issue so one thing he might do if you don’t have any suggestion is to ask GoDaddy and possibly turn off the SSL (which doesn’t seem right to me).

Go to WordPress > Settings > General and check that the URLs there are correct, I wonder if that and GoDaddy are in conflict.

If not, I can take a look on Sunday, or possibly before. Please invite me as an admin at [email protected]. Thanks

Hi Josh, I just sent you access but got an auto-reply stating:
Thank you for emailing Meeting Guide! This email address is no longer in service.
were you able to get the user access?

This problem has been resolved by Godaddy. We believe that the installation of the purchased SSL cert and the file structure may have been causing conflicts in the database. The good news is that the meeting guide app is working perfectly and Central California will be able to find a meeting again. Thank you Tim and Joshua and WSO for all your help in assisting with this problem.
