    Hi there,
We have a multisite that contains all the same the products on each of the 5 sites. I exported a CSV file via WordPress, all products and where it says: Add New, Import and Export click Export. I chose all the columns to export with the exception of ID (I didn’t choose the ID because this changes on each of the sites). I then tidied the CSV file up because the attribute columns were all over the place. I then imported the updated CSV file back to the main site where all the amends are actioned which normally posts to all the other 4 sites. It worked perfectly on the main site but when I check the other sites there was a number of products where the amends did not occur. I then tried importing directly to the individual site but I kept getting an error ‘ products were skipped No matching product exists to update.’ Can you please help!!

I also tried exporting the newly imported file that worked perfectly on the main but then found that all the attribute columns had got mixed up after I had tidied them up previously. What would cause this?

    Kind Regards
    Lorraine

  • Hello,

To check better into this and to get a better understanding, please provide the following:

Your system status: Please share a copy of your site’s System Status, You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

A copy of your CSV file, you can provide us a link for example to Google Docs or Dropbox to the file, you can keep some products on it, the ones that were not working properly.

    Let us know, thank you.

    Hi Igor

Sorry for the delay, Can I send both two items by email to you? the are both very small in size less than 600kb for both. PS what email address do I send them to?

    Kind Regards

    Lorraine

    Hello,

You can send the system status report via https://pastebin.com/ and allow the file a timeframe of let’s say 7 days that way anyone can help in this thread. (You can redact the sensitive information in the repost, for the most part, users redact their website URL).

Regarding the file, you can send it via Google Docs link or Dropbox.

    Thanks.

    Hello again

Who do I address both of the above to? I have never used either of the above to send information to.

    Thanks

    Hello @bentley15!

Once you upload the system status to pastebin.com and the .CSV file to google drive/dropbox you will get a shareable link that you can paste while replying to this thread.

Here is how to use pastebin.com: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCS0kU5VFA4
Here is how to share documents with Google drive: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/2494822

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, (I think that at this point you have been able to find a solution) so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
