CSV Page Import Seen as Source

I’m using WP CSV to import about 50 pages from another website and when doing so, FeedWordPress sees these imported posts as syndicated content, and removes some of their formatting.
Why does FeedWordPress intercept imported posts/pages like this? How can I stop it?
