Just checking in, I have seen the other posts/tickets and the responses and understand this may be in the works. Most hosts have forced us to upgrade to the latest PHP version not giving us an option. Finding another host or downgrading is not a viable solution, but I also understand the plugin provided is free for our use.

I would be willing to contribute and compensate you for your time and perhaps others here that use the plugin and who are stuck because of the PHP upgrade may chip in as well? I appreciate what you guys do and your plugin has literally been the foundation of our website for several years, even before you took over Gigpress.

We use the Gigpress listing plugin more so because, we have several listings through the automotive car show season. Converting to the calendar did not make sense as it required us to have a separate page for each listing, essentially cluttering up our wordpress site since we do display over a thousand or so events a year.

Just wanted to thank you and figure out a way to help you move forward on this.

Hi @jrcanta, apologies for the delay here. It seems like this is an issue with PHP, and I do understand the hosting provider is suggesting updating PHP versions for compatibility. We can only recommend downgrading or switching to a different hosting provider, for now. However, I encourage and recommend you to add it as a feature request in this link: https://evnt.is/ideas, this would help us track users needing this feature.

Nevertheless, I am unable to provide you with an exact date for when this feature will be available or if it is possible. As our development team considers certain factors before implementing one like if a feature request has enough votes.

    Appreciate your patience here.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi @jrcanta,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
