CTA framework and Responsive theme sidebar widget wrapper approach

I am working on integrating CTA into a blog site using the Responsive theme (https://www.ads-software.com/themes/responsive ). I see that CTA, via the dynamic call to action widget, is not utilizing the Responsive theme’s sidebar widget wrapper approach.
Where, within the CTA framework, would you suggest one start to put in place the proper widget wrapper approach?
