CUBE gallery set a s featured image

    Hello
    I was wondering if the cube module could be set as a feature image.

    Reason, I have a post carousel plugin and it picks up on the feature image of our posts but I would like to set the cube module as a featured image so it resolves (scales) dynamically to a thumbnail size or larger within the carousel. Just like you can set the shortcode in a html or text widget for a sidebar or header / footer widget area.

    This would then look interesting as my carousel revolves showing up the cube.

    Is this a possibility ?

    Sorry, I can’t understand which slider are you talking about. Gmedia images doesn’t support shortcodes in the description. So, you can’t use Cube gallery inside another gallery. If you need Gmedia gallery instead of Post’s featured image, then it’s require to modify theme template.

    Hello, seems some details were stripped from my message.

    our home page has your slider.

    I would be willing to purchase the premium package if the this was a possibility of the capability to be written in.

    What I meant was instead of the slider sourcing and displaying the featured image of the post would it be possible to have the cube shown instead if there is a Gmedia shortcode that existed in the content body and picked this up scaled it to thumbnail size and displayed it. it is a CSS 3D cube and it does scale.

    Hi Sorry,

    It was tired and the above text was meant for a the developer of a carosel post content slider.. However if you are saying that your css 3D cube can’t be displayed in a carousel slider or scaled down to display it then I will close this thread?

    The Cube gallery can be any size. If a carousel support shortcodes in it, then you can try to paste cube shortcode inside carousel slide.

    Thanks very much for your response it is very much appreciated..

    If you decide to develop a recent horizontal carousel slider to take both post featured images and your Gmedia shortcodes then please don’t hesitate to let me know and I would happily purchase the premium version for that function alone.
