    Thanks for informing us about this issue.

    Both workflows are using the same code for compressing the image. Therefore, it would not make sense that the host could not be resolved in one of the cases. Also, the url in the error message is the correct endpoint.

    Could you confirm this was not a temporary (possibly network-related) problem? If the issue persists, could you send an email to [email protected] with the email address you used to register?

    To all people that come here looking for a solution to this problem:

    We have had a lot of trouble with one specific WordPress hosting company called HostGator. If you are a customer at Hostgator, chances are high that you will get unexpected errors using our plugin.

    Hostgator uses a terribly old version of cURL and they are very unresponsive when it comes to dealing with this kind of issues coming from their customers.

    We have observed that other plugins that connect to internet services tend to suffer from the same problems on the Hostgater hosting platform. No solutions are known to us so far. It appears to be an issue with their operating system configuration.
