cURL error 28

    Hello,
    When we activate the plugin, we get an error like the one below.

    Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

    Hi @webnetyapi,

    It looks like problem is on the hosting side. Do you have the same problem when you make an update of your WordPress or other plugins? Are you able to install new themes via standard way or you have to update via zip file? What version of WP are you use?

    Hi,
    When we talked with the hosting company, they mentioned that it might be caused by a conflict in plugins.
    We started using a different plugin for Google reCAPTCHA and the problem has been solved.

    Ok, I’m sorry, different plugin probably use less secure communication (e.g. without SSL) via curl and not standard WP function wp_remote_get. I won’t to do something like that.
