cURL error 28

  • Hi,

    I have a lag issue when the plugin is on.
    I created a blank page with nothing to start with
    Here are the test I have done

    First test with plugin deactivated::
    No issue

    Second test with a blank page (no link to amazon, no text, nothing) and plugin activated:

    One error ->

    Response:
    cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 5001 milliseconds

    Third test with nothing but one pricelink to a product (plugin generated shortcode):

    Two errors ->

    Exact same report than before but twice.

    Any idea for this cURL error 28 may come from?

    PS: The page finish loading with all informations requested at the end of the proccess but I got a 5 seconds delay for each link on the page without counting the 5 sec just because the plugin is activated.
    For a page with 5 links thats a 30 sec loading time…
