When I run the SG Migrator I get a curl timeout when the code tries to do the first API call. My log file looks like this:

[14-Apr-2019 08:21:16 UTC] INFO: Transfer started. Creating archives of files…
[14-Apr-2019 08:21:16 UTC] INFO: Updating transfer id.
[14-Apr-2019 08:21:16 UTC] INFO: Updating transfer psk.
[14-Apr-2019 08:21:29 UTC] INFO: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds

I know for a fact that my wordpress site is able to call out to other services since I use plugins that do this and assume they also use curl.

Any ideas why this call times out?

    Thanks

    Hey @justinleavesley

It seems that there are not enough resources on your server or the server configuration timeout is too low.

If you have access to the php.ini file you can increase those limits/timeouts or you can request manual transfer and my colleagues will migrate your site.

(Note that free transfer is available for GrowBig & GoGeek plans)

    Regards,
    Stanimir
