    Hello,

I am using a local version of my wordpress site for testing before deployment to production.

However, since the update to macOS “Big Sur” 11.1, the site has become very slow, even impossible to use!

I installed the Query Monitor plugin which tells me that the site is encountering the error

“CURL error 28: Resolving time out after xxxx milliseconds”

    ? action = query_plugins
    & request% 5Bpage% 5D = 1
    & request% 5Bper_page% 5D = 36
    & request% 5Blocale% 5D = fr_FR
    & request% 5Bbrowse% 5D = featured
    & request% 5Bwp_version% 5D = 5.4

In fact, this error happen for all external links.

However, the same URLs called in the Safari browser work perfectly and deliver the result almost instantly …

I rebooted my internet box just in case, but that absolutely didn’t solve the problem
I rebooted my mac (just in case), it didn’t change anything either.

    – I specify that I have all valid licenses.
    – I am using native macOS apache server and PHP 7.4.12 version

I have deployed the database and all the files on my Gandi server, and there I have absolutely no problems, everything is working perfectly.

I’m sure this is a problem with new “Big Sur” security but I don’t know where to look …

If someone has encountered the problem before, have you found a solution? If yes which one ?

    Thanks in advance,
