cURL error 56

All was well until now, when I found the website is not being cached at all.

I have looked around quite a lot without finding anything and also asked my web hosting for help. They are saying:

“If you’re trying to make a CURL request from your website, we’re likely blocking it.
This would be considered as a loopback connection, where the website attempts to make an external HTTP request to itself. We’d block this unfortunately.

I would recommend you to contact the plugin Author and ask them if there is a way to use this plugin without loopbacks (without HTTP request). ”

Having uninstalled W3TC altogether and reinstalled from scratch I still have the same error: cURL error 56
