Hi, the site is on a secure server that blocks port 443. You can add exceptions, but you need to know the id. Is it known what is the id of woocommerce.com? Can anyone know the set of necessary id for wordpress to work? Unfortunately this problem causes some scheduled actions to not run.

    Hi @miastostron,

The issue you’re experiencing is not due to an ID but rather a network communication issue. Port 443 is commonly used for HTTPS connections, and it’s crucial for your WordPress and WooCommerce to function properly.

If your server is blocking this port, it could lead to some parts of your site not working correctly, as you’ve noticed with some scheduled actions. To resolve this, you need to ask your hosting provider to allow traffic through port 443. You don’t need any specific ID for this; it’s a standard network configuration.

I hope this provides some clarity. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Sorry, but I see that there was a mistake in my question. The hosting provider says they can make exceptions in blocking port 443, but they need to know the IP (not ID). And now the question is whether it is necessary to completely unblock port 443, or is there some set of IP numbers (not ID) that can be added as exceptions to make everything work properly?

    Hi @miastostron

To answer your question, WooCommerce, and WordPress do not have a specific set of IP addresses that you can whitelist to allow traffic through port 443. The reason for this is that the traffic to and from your website can come from various IP addresses, not just from WooCommerce or WordPress.

While it’s technically possible to only allow traffic from certain IP addresses through port 443, this isn’t a practical solution for most websites. It would require constant updating as the IP addresses of your visitors and the services your website communicates with change.

Therefore, the best solution would be to ask your hosting provider to completely unblock port 443. This will ensure that your WooCommerce and WordPress installations can communicate properly with other services and that your visitors can access your site securely.

I hope this information helps! If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
