• Hello,

    I was having problems with duplicate newsletters so I followed this guide

    https://docs.mailpoet.com/article/47-configure-cron-job

    I have configured the cron task and save the settings… then MailPoet plugin shows this message: “A error has occurred”. When I click on “More details”, I see this:

    ” array ( 0 => ‘cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 3001 milliseconds’, )
    array ( 0 => ‘cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 3000 milliseconds’, )”

    Now my newsletter are not being send and I always get the same error, even if I revert the cron option

    Thanks in advance

  • Get in touch with your host’s support staff, the cURL library is probably not installed on your server.

    Update…
    The issue (below) resolved itself, with no configuration changes, or any other actions. It simply stopped displaying the error after a time.

    @mailpoet

    I receive the same error:

    array ( 0 => 'cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 3000 milliseconds', )
    array ( 0 => 'cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 3001 milliseconds', )
    array ( 0 => 'cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 3001 milliseconds', )

    cURL is installed and active:
    cURL support enabled
    cURL Information 7.38.0

    When I test, I receive the “Yup, it works…” email.

    All other scripts, plugins, etc. are having no cURL issues.
    Mailpoet related has not created any entries in any error logs.

    I should note, this started “out of the blue” no configuration changes were made to the server or to WordPress/Plugins.

    Any other ideas?
    Help would be muchly appreciated.
