Currency converter – to show price in diff. ccy

    Hi there,

    I’ve found lots of currency converter table plugins but what I need is slightly different.

    I’d like to have a form in the admin panel to enter the exchange rate and then be able to covert a price (perhaps from a custom field…) and display it in the new currency

    Basically the viewer shouldn’t see a box or anything it should just look like normal text but the text is calculated automatically from the exchange rate

    The benefit here is the admin person can update the exchange rate but never have to go around changing the base price of the item.

    Any suggestions???

    We are looking for the same thing for an online shop and, just like you, have only found converter tables and sidebar widgets.
    It would be a great solution as the site would be both admin and user-friendly.

    I’m wondering if it’s going to require some coding….
    I’m not sure where to start with that as haven’t coded in many a year!
