    Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue where the currency on our WooCommerce store changes automatically on mobile devices but displays correctly on desktop. Here are the details:

    • Steps to Reproduce:
      • Visit the website on a mobile device Android.
      • The currency changes to indian rupees instead of PKR.
    • Environment Details:
      • WooCommerce version Version 9.7.1
      • WordPress Version: 6.7.2
      • Theme: Woostify Sites Library Version 1.5.1
      • Active Plugins currency relevent: (1) Apps PayFast Gateway for Woocommerce – LIVE
      • Browser/Device: Chrome on Anroid
    • What I’ve Tried:
      • Disabled all plugins except WooCommerce – issue persists.
      • Switched to a default theme – issue persists.
      • Checked WooCommerce logs – no errors found.

Could you please investigate and resolve this issue? Let me know if you need any additional information.

    Thanks,
    Azhar

    Hi @mazhrnaz,

I understand how frustrating it can be to see your currency change unexpectedly on mobile devices while everything appears normal on desktop. I’ve tested your site on various devices, such as Windows PC (Microsoft Edge), MacBook (Chrome), iPhone (Safari), and Android (Chrome), and didn’t encounter the issue. I’ve attached an image showing a side-by-side test on Android and desktop (Microsoft Edge) for your reference (https://cln.sh/j76nSYJgppKm9D0RqGFg).

Could you please let me know when you first started noticing this behavior? It’s possible that the multi-currency settings in WooCommerce might be affecting the display. I recommend checking your multi-currency settings by visiting: https://pktechreviews.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=wcpay_multi_currency.

Additionally, please try clearing your cache and cookies on your Android Chrome browser and then revisit your site.

For more details on setting up WooCommerce multi-currency, you can learn more here: https://woocommerce.com/document/woopayments/currencies/multi-currency-setup/#configuring.

Please let me know how it goes or if you need more help.

Thank you for your special time and reply!

I’ve checked the issue on different devices, and it only appears on one specific device. I’ve cleared the cache multiple times, but the issue persists exclusively on that device.

Thank you again for your support.

    Hi @mazhrnaz,

Thank you for your update. I understand how frustrating it can be when an issue appears only on one specific device, especially after you’ve cleared the cache multiple times. To help narrow this down, could you please let me know when you first started noticing this issue on that particular device? Additionally, have any of your users reported the same problem, or is it unique to this one device? It would also be helpful to know the device type and OS version you’re using.

Also, have you had a chance to review your multi-currency settings as suggested earlier? Although clearing the cache is a good step, I recommend also clearing the browser cookies on that device and then trying to visit your site again.

    Looking forward to your response!

Thank you for pointing this out!

I have no issue if the currency change only my device. I don’t have a?multi-currency plugin?installed, so I’m not sure why this is happening.

Thank you for your time and support.

    Hi there!

Could you please share which mobile device model you are using? Also, make sure you are using the latest version of your browser. Which browser are you currently using? Have you tried checking the issue on a different browser?

Additionally, please try opening the site in an incognito/private window and see if the issue persists.

I have tested this on my Android device, and I can see the price appearing in PKR. Let me know what you find!
