Hi there! Love this plugin if I can get it to work. Thanks!
When I try to verify my items I get this message:
    Error: Invalid auction currency. (#95)
The auction currency specified does not match the auction currency for the selected site.
There were some problems verifying your items.

Since there is no swedish site and I use the SEK on my webshop but chose US as a Ebay site there is a fault. How can I solve this since there are no ebay for Sweden.
I wouldn’t want to change all my items in the webshop on my site to a currency such as $ since I sell other things that I don’t want to display on Ebay and I want to show the SEK.

    Your help is appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Anna

    Hi Anna,

sorry for the delay – I was on a trip, but now I’m back ??

If your prices in WooCommerce are in SEK but you want to use ebay.com which requires prices in USD, you need to select USD in your listing profile, and enter a “relative price modifier” as the start price:

Currently, 1 SEK is about 0.15 USD, which translates to 15%. So if you would just enter “15%” as the price in your listing profile, WP-Lister would automatically convert from SEK to USD.

It IS a bit of a “hack” – or workaround – and you won’t be able to create proper orders in WooCommerce when you purchase WP-Lister Pro because WooCommerce can’t have orders in USD when you set it to SEK, but the basic listing process should work all right this way.

Let me know when you have any other questions.

    kind regards,

    Matt

Hi Matt, thanks for coming back to me.

I am not really with you here.

Where shall I put 15%? In the plugin or at Ebay?

And what is the point of listing the products if I can1t sell it? Or you
mean I can sell it on Ebay but not on Woocommerce?

    Thanks,

    Your help is appreciated,

    Best,

    Hi Anna,

just enter “15%” in the field “Price / Start Price” in your listing profile in WP-Lister.

I didn’t say you can’t sell them using this hack – I merely pointed out that if you would upgrade to WP-Lister Pro, which has the option to import eBay orders as orders in WooCommerce, you wouldn’t be able to use that feature because the currency and value would be wrong.

This option to create orders in WooCommerce is purely optional and does not affect any part of listing or selling items. When you’re able to list your items on eBay with the proper price and other details, of course you’re able to sell them on eBay as well – as you are in WooCommerce anyway.

Let me know when you have any other questions.

    kind regards,

    Matt

    Hi Anna,

the two warning can be ignored for now – although you might want to check the preview whether you have the right category assigned, but if your category doesn’t support item conditions you can ignore it for now. Warnings do not stop you from listing and item – errors do:

Error: You need to create a seller’s account. (#120)
Before you can list this item we need some additional information to create a seller’s account.

This error is the reason why you’re not able to successfully list this item. But I’m afraid I can’t tell you anything more than the message says… you’ll have to check your eBay account if you see some kind of message and instructions there, but if you don’t you should give eBay support a call. They’re usually able to resolve or at least clarify account related problems quickly, but if eBay needs more information from you to activate your seller account, that’s obviously beyond my control.

    kind regards,

    Matt
