I have three WooCommerce sites, and I discovered yesterday, that all three are not displaying the currency, ie. USD, for my products. The numericala amount is showing, eg. $45.00, but not the currency.

The currency displayed when I built the sites, but now it’s not.

The corrrect settings are selected in the WooCommerce > Currency Options.

I’ve tried changing themes from Hello to Astra and OceanWP, turning off all the plugins, but nothing is fixing the issue.

Any insights would be most welcome.

    Hi @fifthhouse,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re having an issue with the product currency not displaying in your store. This is quite unusual, but I’ll be happy to help you out.

From your description, it seems you’ve already tried some common troubleshooting steps like switching themes and deactivating plugins, which is a great first step, however, I’d recommend testing out with a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four. I also recommend running a full conflict test by following the steps described here.

Please be sure to have a full site backup before proceeding further.

Let us know how this goes.

Hi there. I tried the Twenty Twenty Four theme and that didn’t fix the issue. I have every plugin deactivated except WooCommerce, WooCommerce Stipe Gateway, Printful Integration for WooCommerce. If I turn any of these off the WooCommerce site will no longer be functional.

Given that, do you still recommend running the conflict test? If so, how would it help given I have only these absolute required plugins active, and I have Twenty Twenty Four theme active?

And just to clarify, I want USD to display. The $ is displaying, but my market is Canada and the USA, so I want people to know the price is in USD and not CAD.

    Hi again @fifthhouse,

I have every plugin deactivated except WooCommerce, WooCommerce Stipe Gateway,?Printful Integration for WooCommerce. If I turn any of these off the WooCommerce site will no longer be functional.

That’s true, the site wouldn’t be functional once the 2 plugins you’ve mentioned are turned off. I understand you’re cautious so as not to have customers access a non-functional site.

However, we need to rule out all possible conflicts, therefore, as an alternative, you can create a staging site, which is a duplicate of your store for testing purposes – you won’t have to worry about your customers visiting a non-functional site.

In the staging site, you can deactivate all active plugins then switch to a default theme to see if the issue still persists.

In the meantime, please share a screenshot of your settings under WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency options. Please also include the link to your store.

    Looking forward to your reply.
