If you open ShopWP – Settings – Pricing, do you see the option for selecting GBP?

Ah ok. Are you comfortable editing your WordPress database?

You can get around this limitation by updating these columns in the wp_wps_settings_general table:

language_code set to en-gb
currency_code set to GBP
country_code set to GB

You can use a plugin like this to edit: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/sql-buddy/

ok updated but now getting this error code on product pages – Variable $language of type LanguageCode was provided invalid value

ok all fixed!! changed language to EN not GB

Hey @mediavita – did this database change reflect across the whole site? I am trying to implement a currency change for users from a certain country only – is this the same problem you were having?

@doublemarvellouscork Hey — yeah this will apply to the whole site (all users). I’m currently working on a user-specific currency / language / country selector, but it probably won’t be available until December / Jan.
