Show Stock Quotes is dependent on Google Finance for all data. If the symbol you inputted did not return a value then Google Finance does not support it. Im sorry for the short answer, but this plugin is highly dependent on Google Finance, which is why adding new stocks or indexes is not in our hands.

I hope this answer helps explain things better.

I know that it’s dependent on Google Finance but that’s the point: Google Finance does support and display it. The symbol is “USDINR=X”. All currency symbols end with “=X” at the end. I guess because the format of the symbol is a little bit different the plug-in has it’s problems.

I forgot to mention that I don’t think this plugin is compatible with forex or indexes. It only shows data for stocks that are in U.S. indexes.
