currency rates not auto updating

  • Recently bought and installed the booster plug in. Trying to get currency rate converstion working. I have enabled Currency Exchange Rates to enabled and to update hourly. I have multi currency Multi Currency (Currency Switcher) Module enabled and set to auto update. My currency converstion rates seem to sit at 1 for CAD/USD. If I hit the USD/CAD button it fills in the proper rate but if I hit the run updates button it resets to 1, as does the scheduled task. Can you assist?
