Current and Past Teams

  • When I start a new season I create a list player list with the correct season in it. I then go into the settings page and set the current season to the one here, but for old past playerlists for the entire league seem to hold old data which is good, but if some staff go inside there and accidentally save it grabs all player data from last year’s standings and updates their team to the current one yet the stats are appropriately set to the correct past season year. It’s just the team column that is messed up.

    When you choose All teams, there is no past or current option like if you were to choose one team.

    How does one fix this issue?

    Also, when you import players and merge them, it should move the current team to the last team in the formula, I believe this issue is where things are broken in the above. When we resave the playerlist it has no sight of the team in the past.

    This is a draft league to give you some context, so the player’s teams change every year. The behavior on the old season teams column is really strange. Stats, goals, points everything is exactly as it should be, but teams just fall apart and has no distinct pattern that I can find.Some players seem to hold old teams, even if the past team is empty, while others seem to sync and change the table years back. It appears any form of update to that player on an individual basis hijacks the old table data, or an import that merges duplicates as it then kills the team.

    Any advice would be really helpful.
