Current classes don't seem to be working for custom post type

Looking at some other threads, it seems the plugin is supposed to add classes such as ‘current_page_item’, ‘current_page_ancestor’ and ‘current_page_parent’ however it doesn’t seem to be working for hierarchical custom post types. Any help is much appreciated!
