Hi Team, when trying to download and activat the free Sensei plugin I am getting the following error:

“The plugin does not have a valid header.”

I get this via the WordPress -> Add New marketplace interface as well as the upload interface.

In both instances it is not possible to add the plugin to a WordPress site.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Update: I have attempted to install Sensei on multiple WordPress instances and the bug persists. Both on plugin heavy and vanilla WP sites.

    Hello @davidperel,

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the trouble!

I tried to install Sensei on a test site from this page: https://MYSITEURL/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?s=sensei&tab=search&type=term

And all went through okay. I also tried downloading and uploading the plugin on a different test site, and all went well again.

Does the same hosting provider host all your sites? Can you reach out to them to check if there is something at their end that needs a tweak?

Let me know how you get on!
