    Hi IAK,

This is something we originally had and then we removed it. We just didn’t see enough value, and in many cases, it meant the current page title was appearing up to 3 times (title bar, post heading, breadcrumb link). Given that pages likely already have at least one instance of the title anyway, we thought it safest to remove it, especially since breadcrumbs already go several layers deep and many sites have long titles. I don’t think this is something we want to add back, even as an option, just because we want to keep things simple.

Is the current title not displayed anywhere on the page, or is there another reason you think this would add value to Toolkit users?

    Thanks

    Hi Uncanny Owl,

Thank you for your prompt response. In our case and in the way that we have designed it, it would only appear twice, but not in an intrusive way and it would be helpful for the UX. We have a client who are adamant in having this to add the title to the end the breadcrumb trail.

I might be able to add code to add this in, but if you do have a solution, it would be wonderful.

    Thank you!

    Hi IAK,

We’ve decided to add this to a future release, but it’s unfortunately a low priority for us right now and it may be a few weeks or months before it’s something we include in the Toolkit. Sorry about that. I’m going to close this thread, as it’s working as intended, but look for an update that includes it in the future.
