Hello to anyone who reads this

If I have a side-menu structured this way:

    111
    ___AAA
    ___BBB
    ______aaa
    ___CCC
    222
    ___AAA
    ___BBB
    ______aaa
    ______bbb
    ______ccc
    ___CCC
    ___DDD
    ___EEE
    333
    ___AAA
    ___BBB
    444
    555

and set the filter to “Current Root Item” things will work well until I go to one of the root item pages.
Say I visit 555 and expect CMW to not show up, since 555 has no children.
However, whenever I visit one of the root items all their siblings and their respective children are displayed.
To me, this behavior doesn’t make sense since there is no other ultimate ancestor defined for that particular root item.

I have not changed any options else when creating the widget instance, except setting the filter to “Current Root Items”.

Does anyone else share my strange problem here?

    kind regards
    Ludwig T.

    Hi Ludwig.
I’m afraid this is a consequence of the update at v2.0.0 – the 2nd of the !Possible Breaker! changes noted in the Changelog. If you set the Switch to Current Item Fallback option then I think you should get the behaviour you are expecting.
