Current theme not showing in “Themes”

  • “Appearance > Themes” shows the usual text, but current theme name and location are blank. The available themes are correct.

    First, the current theme was stuck on the WordPress default theme, no matter that I could change themes successfully and see them when visiting the public blog.

    I edited page 4 of database “Options” table text value to the name of the current theme – then it the dashboard started showing blanks as described above.

    Uploading all files (except config.php and the contents folder) didn’t help.

    Ideas?
