Current WP + current VPDFE = broken galleries?

Just updated one of my sites today, and I noticed that vanilla-pdf-embed is acting weird with default WP galleries. This is only happening on my live site, not on localhost. It seems like this plugin is picking up an old, cached URL of one of the images from when it was on a test subdomain, noticing that the file isn’t coming from homeurl(), and attempting to embed it as if it were a PDF. I don’t think I was having this issue before, so I’m assuming it has something to do with the 4.7.2 update.
