Currently Reading/Listening List

I don’t think you understand what I’m describing.

Not the “Currently listening to …” at the end of a post. I’m talking about a list on the sidebar that displays a group of books or albums that are currenty being read/listened to by the user.

It’s true that custom fields only work within the Loop, but if you have some PHP skills, you may be able to understand the query instructions at the bottom of the article I listed above on how to call this information from the post meta table into your sidebar or wherever you want it.

There is also a plugin at https://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/06/30/plugin-get-custom/ that might be able to help you do this, too. There may be others.
