• One of my clients is unable to ever see a cursor when editing a post or page using the visual editor. If they switch to the HTML editor then they have a cursor.

Any idea how to resolve this issue?

    Thanks.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I have not tried those things. This problem is only occuring on one of a dozen or so end-users computers. I cannot duplicate the problem on any browser that I use, and I am hesitant to start tweaking things because it appears isolated to one user.

Then it’s not a WordPress problem.

Those were my thoughts, of course, but I was checking to see if anyone else had experienced this apparently isolated problem.
