Cursor Position When You Save Draft

I have been using WP for just under a year and I am enjoying it but there is one behaviour in the editor that drives me nuts and I would love to see it fixed. I use TinyMCE Advanced but I think the behaviour I am describing is inherited from the basic visual editor,

I am editing a long page / post and I am on, say, line 200. I do an interim save of the Draft and the cursor goes back to line 1, so I have to find where I was. If I am tweaking things to check how they present, this gets really annoying.

So the request is quite simple. When a draft is saved please remember and preserve the cursor position
