Custom 404 messed up my Sitemap and caused massive errors

  • As noted by me in the Support section, this plug-in created 42 pages titled c4p_log and bloated up my sitemap to the extent that Google and Bing stopped crawling my page for a while.
    I wouldn’t recommend this plug-in to anyone till the issue is sorted.

    The pages that have been created are log pages but they will not interfere in your “Pages” section. You can remove them from the sitemap by using the simple Yoast SEO plugin or your expertise of sitemaps.

    Let me know if I can help with anything else.

    Or clear the logs and/or disable logging if you don’t need it. That was my path.
