Still a great plugin! Here’s a feature request I guess. Would it be possible to make the anchor that gets linked towhen the location bubble gets closed more unique? Open User Map uses #close but so do many other plugins and themes. E.g. Salient theme uses it as their DIV id for their search box etc. When closing the location bubble the page scrolls to the top. Maybe #oumclose instead of #close??

For that matter, it is probably a good idea to do it for all OUM close events (form etc)

    Thanks much !

    Hi @ronald2020,

Thanks for reaching out. Actually clicking on the X of a location bubble shouldn’t lead to a page scroll. Can you provide me a link to your page with the map so I can test this? You can contact me through the support section of the plugins website.

    Best regards,

    Hi @ronald2020,

Can you please try to disable the One Page Scroll Support (Animated Anchor Links) (Salient > General Settings) and see if the problem still persists?

    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for looking into it.

When i disable that Salient setting there is no more scroll indeed. Hence my point of conflicting with certain themes/plugins. What strikes me though is that with the Salient animation enabled the problem only exists when clicking the X. Any other means of closing the bubble such as clicking outside the bubble or pressing ESC when in the bubble does not create the scroll issue.

    Hi @ronald2020,

Okay, it’s good that we could narrow the problem down. Unfortunately I can’t do much about it from my end, as the #close href is part of the LeafletJS library that my plugin is based on. Maybe you should try to address this to the Salient Theme support as it is related to their functionality. In my opinion it is not good practice to bind their smooth scrollto function to every href on the page. LeafletJS is very popular and should work with every theme.

    Best regards,
    Daniel
