I am struggling to import my products with custom attributes.

I want to have custom attributes which are picked up by woocommerce and displayed on the product pages when a cvs file is Imported.

    An example is :

    Product: Roof Rack
    *********************************************************
THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES NEED TO BE SHOWN ON PRODUCT PAGES
    ******************************************************
    Color: Black
    Load Capacity: 50kg
    Bar Style: Flush
    Fixture: Removable
    ***********************************************************

Using the CVS example supplied by woocommerce I can only get the standard attributes to import such as: Name, SKU, Description, Price etc.

The products I am adding are not variable but I would like info on the products such as the Color, Load Capacity etc to show.

@ashclutchem If you have not been able to do this yet, the easiest way to get the correct format for the attributes you need would be to add the attributes to a product in WooCommerce, then export that product to csv in order to view how the data is formatted.

On a side note, it would probably be best to create the attributes as global attributes under Products > Attributes, then add them to the products. This allows for easier adding, removing and editing. They are also linked/related.

@ashclutchem We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
