Custom attributes with custom names ?

    Is it possible to rename the ADI attributes shown in user profiles?
    When creating and selecting an attribute from the List (e.g. “mobile (Handy)” ), Always “Handy” is shown in user profile.
    Furthermore when adding a custom attribute (e.g. “extensionAttribute11” from exchange) it is also shown as “extensionAttribute11” in the user profile. Is there any way to rename those attributes for display purposes? In the previous version there was….

    Hey mzemann,

    thanks for reporting your issue.

    I have just checked the problem you are describing. Currently you are able to enter a custom description for any attributes you want to show inside the users profile. But that description is never used. This is not the intended behavior.

    I will create a ticket in our internal issue tracker.

    This is what it should be like:

    Is there a custom description for the attribute?
    If yes, display that description as the name.
    If no, use the default name from the Active Directory.

    If I fix the issue, I will let you know.
