• Hi, firstly I’d like to say your plugin is great!

I’d like to create Custom Audiences but I’m not sure how to do it properly.

I.e. I’d like to have in custom audience people who entered my website from “Mothers Day” ad and that looked for women watches.

I’m going to make a link in my Facebook ad like: myshop.com/category/women?ad=mothers-day. The link will be shortcuted using goo.gl.

I’ve set it in Custom Audience in your plugin like:

URL to include – URL contains: [women, mothers-day]. Is it okay?
I’m asking because I’m trying to enter my website with these parameters using another browser with incognito and I don’t see any size both in plugin and on Facebook.

The other thing I don’t understand are filters for Ecommerce behaviour. I’m selecting AddToCart to have in my Audience only people that clicked AddToCart. Below are fields to choose like value > contains > (empty field). I’m not sure what to set there.

    Hi,

for the custom audience focused on URL, you just need to put the URL or a part of it of your website. So, in the case of myshop.com/category/women?ad=mothers-day URL, it’s ok to define the part mothers-day in the URL field.

About the size, unfortunately, Facebook had deactivated it due to some privacy restrictions, but the audience should work without any problem. You may get more info about the custom audience created from your FB account.

    For the last thing:

The other thing I don’t understand are filters for Ecommerce behaviour. I’m selecting AddToCart to have in my Audience only people that clicked AddToCart. Below are fields to choose like value > contains > (empty field). I’m not sure what to set there.

the value parameter contains the amount of what the user had added to the cart, so it’s an arbitrary field where you have to specify if you want restrict the audience to who had added to cart an amount less or greater than 40$ or 60$ or whatever.
Instead, if you want to restrict the audience based on the products, you need to specific content_ids as property and then you will be able to select the product from the field near to “contains”.

I hope is everything clear! ??
Let me know if something is not very clear.
    Thanks.
