Custom avatar directory

The Molongui Authorship plugin uses the default WordPress media library to pick and upload custom avatars for your authors. As WordPress doesn’t provide the ability to add new subfolders within your root media directory, you need to install a third party plugin that allows you to. And, in order to be able to pick a local image located outside main media’s root folder, that plugin should enhance default WordPress media library (so it can display those subfolders too).

However, our plugin allows you to pick any local image, no matter how or where you uploaded, as author avatar. So you could always edit database entries to change image’s path. Obviously, this would be a valid option only for a one-time thing.
