Custom bctt

  • Hi there,
    I followed instructions to customize BCTT via ftp. Moved bcttstyle from the plugin directory to uploads but nothing in the box had changed.
    Note that I never used css , I was expetcted that something qould have changed but…
    Any suggestions to change font color for example?

  • Hi Elena,

    You would need to make changes to that CSS file you put in your uploads folder, otherwise the styles are identical to what’s in the original plugin.

    If you describe what sort of style you like, I can make some suggested changes.

    Hi folks,

    Actually, the bcttstyle.css file _is_ different from the stock css file (in the same folder, named styles.css) that ships with the plugin, so I suspect this might have to do with caching or something else.

    Ensure that the file you moved is in the root of the uploads folder, like this:

    Also make sure that you didn’t change the name of the file. it should be exactly “bcttstyle.css” in order to work.

    If you’ve ensured those things are correct, the only other possibility is that your site is caching that other file. Flush/empty the cache if you are running a caching plugin, and see if that fixes it.
