Custom Blog Category Page

Im trying to create a second page, aside from my normal blog, that just shows posts from a certain category. When I go to create a new page, I click on “Screen Options” and tick the “Page Options” box, where I see I can select a category to pull posts from. When I publish the page, nothing shows up even though I have posts in that category, and the “Page Options” box disappears even though it’s still checked. Please help! Thank you ??
