Custom categories

    I am using this recent post slider and want to use it with a custom post type blog_post. I have managed to get it to display these posts but I cannot get it to post categories from this post type. For instance news, sport, entertainment. I have tried using taxonomy and I’m not sure how to post these custom types can someone help with this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching here.

    Please try this shortcode [recent_post_slider post_type="blog_post" taxonomy="blog-category" category="Add Your Blog Post Category ID"].
    If you display category wise post so please add your blog post category id in the “category” parameter.

    Note:- Please do not copy and paste the shortcode parameter because if cause the quote(“) issue writes manually.
