custom category post

    I have 2.5. Is there a way to create a post page for a specific category. I want to have a page that has multiple posts from a category but not link to another page, nor show “date”. Of course, I want to keep a blog page also… I’ve been searching google for this and seems that 2.5 does not offer this flexiblity?
