• Hi there,

I’m using your plugin for a while now and I like it. It wasn’t easy to get it working, but with some reading and try & error I got it now, and it is running fine.

I’ve got a WordPress running on a specific domain (www.driftar.ch). This WordPress is not hosted at AWS but at a local hosting provider. Due to performance improvement, I’ve decided to go with AWS CloudFront.

Unfortunately, it looks as I can’t set up a custom CDN domain, if the domain is not registered/hosted at AWS, or if it differs from the origin domain.

I’ve registered a new domain at AWS (driftarstatic.com) and wanted to use this domain as my custom CDN domain. Amazon is using also another domain for their stuff (like awsstatic.com). So I thought that this should work.

    Blog: https://www.driftar.ch
    Custom CDN: cdn.driftarstatic.com

Is this true? I can’t use another domain but the origin? If not, how can I make this work?

    Thank you!

    Best regards,
    Karl

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. Is it because of technical issues (it‘s technically not possible), or is it a huge effort to implement this feature?

    Best regards,
    Karl

    Hello @driftar

The feature to use an alternate custom CDN was not planned.

I might try to add that in the newer release; however I cannot confirm by when can I add this feature.
