Custom Checkbox not clickable

You have some plugin that is commenting out a bunch of scripts and stylesheets in your head. If you look at the DOM you can see what I’m talking about. If you fix that then your custom checkbox might start working as intended.

I think I see the problem now. It’s not the css.

When I copy the html code into the Theme Banner Text, it deletes the input part of the code and thats why it not clickable. Can you tell me why it deltes it automaticly after saving?

Code is the following:

        <input id="d" type="checkbox">
        <label for="d">

Even the following code gets deleted:
<input id="d" type="checkbox">

The settings forms strip a lot of stuff due to security concerns. It uses this function, https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/wp_kses_allowed_html/, with the value 'post'. I’ll look into this function a bit more and see if it can be altered to allow <input> elements.

I think there is a way to do it, it’s just going to take some time for me to investigate how to do is safely and securely. If this feature is urgent for you i would suggest finding an alternate solution. Since this is a side project for me I can’t give an accurate estimate on completion date.
